WHO ARE WE? The Nigeria Society of Biochemistry Students (NSBS), is a student association for all biochemistry students at various tertiary institutions in Nigeria. It has its National Body which houses numerous local chapters from the six (6) geo-political zone in Nigeria. 8th NSBS SOUTH EAST CONVENTION AT MICHAEL OKPARA UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE, UMUDIKE
The 8th South East Convention of the Nigeria Society of Biochemistry Students South East Zone was held at the prestigious Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike in Abia State. Over 1,200 students were in attendance with dignitaries such as the South East Zonal Coordinator, Nigeria Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Prof. Akubugwo. At the convention, Abia State University, Uturu emerged as the South East Quiz Champion while Federal Polytechnic Nekede and University of Nigeria, Nsukka produced the Mr. & Miss NSBS South East respectively.
